Flowers for Ukraine

This mural was created in support of Ukraine and our environment including the smallest creatures in our ecosystem. The devastating war in Ukraine is always on my mind. It is tragic and it could happen anywhere. We have to do what we can to support all humans and creatures. We are fragile and we are on a fragile planet. With this piece, I’m trying to put forward a feeling of positivity by using natural elements, flowing shapes and lots of color. I used a yellow/blue dominant palette in support of Ukraine and each butterfly has a blue and yellow heart within it. I also wanted to introduce a myriad colors on the spectrum to reflect feelings of equality and hope.
