Kerrin's mixed material artworks embody her personal experiences in both urban and natural environments. She spends many hours outside traversing through the amazing state and national parks and the intriguing cities and subcultures from the east to the west coast of The United States. These experiences have shaped her artistic vision and journey.

"I've had several spiritual experiences out on the road, many of them in nature involving various animals, insects and birds. Engaging and interacting with creatures in their natural environment has brought me feelings of transcendentalism."

Kerrin's latest artworks are created from nature based experiences and with the use found objects she has collected during the past two years while hiking along the east coast of The United States including several sections of The Appalachian Trail, Mount Washington and many state parks throughout New York, Pennsylvania, Deleware and Maine.

"These landscape environments whether realistic or abstracted are multi-layered combinations of oil paints and/or encaustics, photographs and collaged drawings taken directly from my sketchbooks. My intention is to bring the audience directly into the eye of my experience."
