A unique blend of materials and subject matter characterizes the work of artist Kerrin Parkinson. Kerrin shows introspection and personal experience using different media. Living in unique subcultures, spending many hours in the great outdoors and traveling extensively has shaped Kerrin's artistic vision and journey.

Kerrin lives in South Portland, Maine and works as a fine artist, mural artist and illustrator. She received her BFA in Art Education from The University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth and her MFA in Illustration from The Academy of Art University in San Francisco where she was named valedictorian. Her artwork has been featured in various publications including Artist Spectrum Magazine and publications by The Society of Illustrators in New York. Kerrin has shown her work in solo and group shows on both the east and west coasts of The United States including representation with Agora Gallery in SOHO, NY. Also, she served as Artist in Residence for The Solstice Music Festival in Tribecca, NY and sat on the jury for the New York Society of Illustrator's International Biennial Dimensional Salons. She has been a member of The New York Society of Illustrator's since 2002.

Parkinson recently completed her 3rd compact disc package for Nahda Brahma Records. She is currently working on several design/illustration projects, large scale murals, mixed material artworks, photography enlargements and a series of oil on canvas paintings which reflect her most recent experiences in her newest home, the beautiful state of Maine.
